Sara Cox presents the teatime show on BBC Radio 2, which is one of the most popular slots on the radio station.

During Wednesday’s airing, Strictly Come Dancing competitor, Escape to the Country presenter and radio DJ, Richie Anderson, was forced to wear a Canaries shirt after failing a music challenge – a hard pill to swallow for a West Brom super fan.

Philippe Clement’s side beat the Baggies 5-0 and climbed out of the Championship relegation zone for the first time since October.

Cox shared the picture with her 660,000 Instagram followers with the caption: “Poor Richie’s forfeit for failing the teatime musical challenge on BBC Radio 2 was to wear a Norwich City Football Club shirt – not easy for a West Bromwich Albion super fan, especially after Tuesday night’s 5-0 bashing.”

She added that she had corrected the score after her fans pointed out an error.

Anderson responded: “As you can see, I’ve had a lot of sympathy today at BBC Radio 2 after West Brom’s result (on Tuesday).

“I lost a quiz and this was my forfeit.”
