Drama has surfaced among the Queer Eye cast after Karamo Brown skipped multiple live interviews promoting the show’s final season, citing bullying and feeling “mentally and emotionally abused.”Shortly after, former cast member Bobby Berk appeared to subtly react via a cheeky Instagram post promoting his new HGTV show.Bobby, who previously exited Queer Eye after a personal feud with Tan France (among other reasons), has seemingly indicated he’s staying out of the current conflict.

There is seemingly some drama brewing between the Fab Five, and former Queer Eye cast member Bobby Berk has now entered the chat. One day after Karamo Brown skipped out on multiple live interviews promoting season 10 with the rest of the cast for fear of “being bullied,” Bobby took to Instagram to provide a cheeky response.

“How’s everyone’s week going?!” he captioned a photo of himself posing in a grassy field. “Have you seen my new show ‘Junk or Jackpot?!’ on @hgtv, @hbomax and @discoveryplus?” And notably, he set the post to Chappell Roan’s song “My Kink Is Karma.” Peeeerfectly petty.

For those needing some context: The drama began on January 20, the day before Queer Eye’s tenth and final season dropped on Netflix. Fans were shocked when Karamo abruptly pulled out of scheduled cast appearances on CBS Mornings and Today with Jenna & Sheinelle, where—in statements shared on air—Karamo cited bullying (as well as feeling “mentally and emotionally abused”) as his reason for skipping.

The following day, TMZ revealed the reported reason for the rift, which allegedly involved some mean-spirited gossip between Antoni Porowski, Tan France, and Jonathan Van Ness about Karamo’s “lifestyle choices” that Karamo’s mom overheard and relayed to him.

However, if his Instagram post is any indication, Bobby is staying far, faaaar away from the drama.

The interior design expert has already experienced his own share of Queer Eye drama, having left the Netflix series ahead of season nine after a reported feud between him and Tan. Bobby addressed his exit during a tell-all interview with Vanity Fair in January 2024, saying, “Tan and I had a moment. There was a situation—and that’s between Tan and I—and it has nothing to do with the show. It was something personal that had been brewing and nothing romantic, just to clarify that.”

He also addressed unfollowing Tan on Instagram, saying, “Should I have unfollowed Tan? No. Maybe I should have just muted him. But that day, I was angry, and that’s the end of it. We became like siblings—and siblings are always going to fight.”
