The public are being urged to keep their eyes open for squirrels and pine martins.

Researchers from the University of Galway, Ulster Wildlife and the Vincent Wildlife Trust are looking for the public’s assistance in tracking Ireland’s iconic woodland mammals.

The public are invited to record their sightings of three species in particular – red and grey squirrels, and the pine martin.
