Katie Price’s ‘heartbroken’ ex boyfriend JJ Slater has cut his final tie from the glamour model as she announced her engagement just a few days after confirming her split from the Married At First Sight star.
Former glamour model Katie, 47, shocked fans last night as she announced her engagement with photos on her Instagram stories – showing the lavish proposal and impressive ring. Katie later revealed her new beau is Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews as she shared cosy snaps with her new man.
Following the shock announcement, Katie’s toyboy ex JJ, 32, has cut the final tie with his former girlfriend – who confirmed their split less than 10 days ago – by unfollowing her on Instagram. The Mirror can reveal that JJ’s profile no longer follows Katie, while Katie’s Instagram profile still follows her former Married At First Sight UK flame.

It comes as a source has claimed JJ has been left ‘blindsided’ by her surprise engagement as it has been claimed JJ is currently in Miami with his family and has been ‘healing his broken heart’. Last night, JJ shared sunny snaps of himself stood in front of a row of palm trees before he posted a clip of himself on a white sandy beach.
It seems in the midst of his heartache, JJ is focussing on his health and wellbeing as he wrote on top of the clip of him on the beach: “Staying on track even when daily routine changes thanks to @kieran.kondition Simple, achievable, enjoyable plans put together, all I have to do is do the work.”
Meanwhile, loved-up Katie appeared in a video with her newly revealed man as she flaunted her huge new rock. In the clip, the pair are touching faces and grinning as Lee says: “So Katie, here we are,” he giggles before saying: “Look how cute this girl is,” turning to Katie Lee then asks: “Have you got anything to show the crowd, Katie? On your left index or your left finger,” she then shows off the huge rock on her finger as he adds: “Let see how sparkly that is, oh fudge that is like 25 carats”. As she continues waving her hand in the air, she gushes: “That is beautiful, look at that, I’ve been spoilt.” Lee then replies: “That’s as big as my head.” Katie adds: “Do you know you’ve actually really spoilt me.”

He then jokes: “It’s going to be all over the news tomorrow though isn’t it?,” She responds: “It will be,” while bringing the ring closer she says: “Look at that you’ve absolutely spoilt me.” Lee then jokes: “Put your sunglasses on people, look at that,” before he laughs while Katie covers her face with her left hand and the video ends. Katie re-shared the video on her Instagram story and wrote: “When your just dreams come true when your not looking and deserve to find my real Gentlemant”. [sic]
Katie announced her shock engagement last night. The reality star shared an image of rose petals arranged to spell out ‘will you marry me’, followed by a glimpse of a stunning diamond engagement ring.

She then posted a picture of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, captioning it “My Richard Gear [sic] swept off my feet. Manifesting does work”. One of the snaps shows her holding hands with her then mystery man sporting a tattoo of her name.
Lee also shared the same images on his own stories, including the first photo of them together. He tagged Katie in the post and added an engagement ring emoji.
This marks Katie’s ninth engagement, and if the couple make it to the altar, it will be her fourth marriage. This news comes just weeks after Katie disclosed that her relationship with JJ Slater had ended “over months” before Christmas.
During the latest episode of her show, The Katie Price Show podcast, she said: “I don’t wanna waste my time. You know, if I’m not loved up and it’s not going, these are mistakes I’ve made in the past.

“You stay, just go along, and then it ends up getting nasty. Yeah. And I don’t want that. So I’d rather have nipped it in the bud sooner rather than later. But yeah, I was there at Christmas, because, you know, the family and stuff, because it was already arranged, but it was over ages ago, really.”
