West Ham insiders have issued an update about Crysencio Summerville leaving in the January transfer window.
The Dutchman started the season slowly, but has currently hit a purple patch and seems to be enjoying his football.
This has led to other clubs showing an interest in Summerville and potentially looking to sign him ahead of the transfer deadline.

West Ham insiders respond to reports of Crysencio Summerville joining Roma
Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenburg claimed that Roma had made an offer for the 24-year-old.
This deal could be in the region of £21million and £26million, with the Serie A outfit prioritising a move for the winger.
While their interest may be legitimate, it is understood that the Hammers are not considering selling the former Leeds United attacker.
Claret and Hugh’s Sean Whetstone claims that West Ham insiders have told him that Summerville will not be leaving in January.
Tottenham have also been linked with Summerville, but the club’s stance has remained the same throughout.
Whetstone wrote on X: “Club insiders have insisted he is NOT for sale in this window by saying: ‘Summerville will not be sold in this window.’
“Summerville’s representatives are Wasserman with fellow Dutchman Seraino Dalgliesh his agent.”

It would have been possible a couple of months ago that the Dutch attacker would have wanted to leave due to his lack of form.
A fresh start, at the time, may have been something that he would have considered to get his career back on track.

However, he has hit a rich vein of form, scoring three goals and providing an assist in his last three games in all competitions.
Summerville scored and assisted in West Ham’s 2-1 win over QPR in the FA Cup and has found the back of the net in the following two Premier League games against Tottenham and Sunderland.
That said, he will be aware that the Hammers are in a relegation battle, and if a club comes knocking on his door that would give him the chance to compete for silverware, he may decide that it is time to leave the London Stadium.
