Gerrards Cross Golf Club, which is based in Chalfont Park, has been shortlisted for the Tournament Venue of the Year Award at the 2026 England Golf Awards.

The tournament in question was the 2025 Senior Women’s Stroke Play.

The golf club will be up against the St Enodoc Golf Club in Cornwall for their Men’s County Finals, as well as the Carris Trophy tournament, which was held by Luffenham Heath Golf Club in Leicestershire.

England Golf CEO Jeremy Tomlinson said: “The England Golf Awards are always very special occasions where we recognise and celebrate the achievements of some of the most brilliant people who drive the success of our game.

“Everyone nominated should take great pride in how they continue to make a positive difference to this great sport we all love.

“Likewise, the Manchester Deansgate Hotel is a great venue, so we know we are in for another fantastic night to celebrate our amazing finalists and winners, enjoying a night to cherish.”

The award ceremony will take place on March 3.

On Google, Gerrards Cross Golf Club has an average score of 4.7/5 from 197 reviews, many of which are positive.

“Martin and the bar staff were excellent, and we are so grateful to them.

“We 100 per cent will be having more events here in future.

“Faultless.”
