Despite joining West Ham in the summer, Soungoutou Magassa and Kyle Walker-Peters have been linked with an exit ahead of the transfer deadline.

Fiorentina are keen on Magassa and Walker-Peters and are looking to sign the duo before the January transfer window closes.

Much like West Ham, Fiorentina are 18th in their league, and believe that the duo can help them battle relegation.

West Ham signed Magassa for £14.7m. He’s EASILY worth £50m today…🤑

West Ham insiders pour cold water on Soungoutou Magassa and Kyle Walker-Peters claims

Insiders at the club have responded to claims of Magassa and Walker-Peters leaving ahead of the transfer deadline.

Claret and Hugh journalist Sean Whetstone has revealed that sources have poured cold water on their exits in this window.

The insiders have categorically denied reports of them being in talks with the Serie A side over a transfer.

It has been revealed that neither of them will be on their way out this winter, to Fiorentina or any other club.

Whetstone wrote on X: “There is NO truth that Soungoutou Magassa and Kyle Walker-Peters could be the next West Ham players to leave the club.

“Club insiders say there are NO talks and the players will not depart.

“Yesterday Italian journalist Matteo Moretto claimed that Fiorentina were in talks with West Ham over Magassa and Walker-Peters.”

It has been a pretty eventful transfer window at West Ham, as a number of players parted ways with the club.

However, there still could be a few more departures before the window officially closes on 2 February.

Nuno Espirito Santo has opted to omit James Ward-Prowse from his squads since his arrival, and that has eventually led to the midfielder’s patience growing thin in East London.

While he did return to the matchday squad against Sunderland, he does not seem to have a future at the club.

According to David Ornstein, the Hammers have given him permission to undergo a medical at relegation rivals Burnley.

Nuno is the one who sanctioned his move to the Clarets despite them being one place behind his side.

It will not include an option to buy, and an announcement could be made imminently as everything appears to be done.
