Samsung is bringing a new layer of privacy to the Galaxy S26 series.
The South Korean tech maker says that this is a hardware and software protection with pixel-level privacy. The technology will prevent peering eyes from taking a look at your phone’s screen.
This will let you customize it for specific apps when you’re entering access details for private areas of your phone. The new feature will let you adjust visibility and limit what others see. Additionally, you can protect specific parts of your handset’s experience, such as notification pop-ups.
Samsung says that the feature took more than five years of engineering, testing and refining. The tech maker said it studied how people use their phones and what they consider private.
It’s worth noting that Samsung didn’t specifically mention the S26 series, but the post says “Samsung will soon unveil a new layer of privacy to shield your phone from shoulder surfing wherever you go.” With the S26 series on the horizon, it seems pretty obvious.
Another new tidbit about the Samsung Galaxy S26 is that the phone will have satellite texting, similar to the most recent Google and Apple devices. Further, Samsung says the device is adding 25W wireless charging.
