Three people have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a car and HGV crashed on the A55.
North Wales Police said the road was closed in both directions between Penmaenmawr Tunnel and Conwy Tunnel, and remains closed westbound.
The force was called at about noon on Thursday to junction 17 westbound in Conwy Morfa, under the A547 overpass.
Three Wales Air Ambulance helicopters were sent, as were four ambulances and two other response units. Four off-duty paramedics also helped.
