Bracknell Forest Council has issued an appeal for the public’s help in tracking down the people responsible for dumping rubbish in the neighbourhoods of Winkfield and Warfield.
The Winkfield incident saw bags of tiles, soil, piping, and general building waste abandoned in the Woodside area, likely from a bathroom or kitchen renovation.

The fly-tipped rubbish includes a section of blue and white tiling that the council hopes someone may recognise.

The Winkfield fly-tip happened between Sunday, January 25, and the early hours of Monday, January 26.
Another fly-tipping dump happened barely a day later in Warfield on the night of January 27-28, with bags of rubbish discarded along Bishops Lane.

The Warfield waste also appears to have come from a house renovation.
The Public Protection Partnership (PPP), who work with the council to deliver services relating to environmental health, licensing and trade standards, stressed that fly-tipping “is not a victimless crime”.
The PPP told Bracknell News fly-tipping “damages our environment, poses serious risks to public health and wildlife, and costs taxpayers thousands of pounds every year in clean-up and enforcement costs”.
They added: “Illegal dumping blights communities, undermines local pride, and diverts resources away from essential public services.
“We urge everyone to dispose of waste responsibly and report fly-tipping to help keep our area clean and safe. Those found guilty of fly-tipping can face fines and/or a prison sentence.”
Following the double string of fly-tipping, Bracknell Forest Council is appealing to anyone who was driving in either area and may have seen people carrying or offloading the materials to please get in touch.
Anyone with information can contact the Public Protection Partnership, who are working with the council to tackle the issue, on 01635 503242 or by emailing ehadvice@westberks.gov.uk.
