Manchester United take on Fulham this weekend in the Premier League on the back of two massive victories.

Michael Carrick will be hoping his fairytale start as Manchester United head coach continues this weekend at Old Trafford.

It will be a much more winnable clash on paper for United, welcoming Marco Silva’s Fulham, but this is precisely the kind of game that has been a banana skin for the club.

Fulham are sixth in the Premier League form table, which shows it will be a tough game. However, if United play in a similar form to the wins over City and Arsenal, there will be only one result.

Carrick has big decisions to make for United regarding team selection with Patrick Dorgu out.

What Manchester United fans are saying on TalkingPoints about facing Fulham

United fans weren’t just confident in the vote, voicing their opinions in the comments.

“Cautiously optimistic… we thrived as underdogs against City and Arsenal, but this is a new test altogether where Carrick is expected to win”, one fan wrote.

While a second went one further, “Yes, I have full confidence that we will win the match”.

A third added, “Wary of saying we will definitely win, but I have more confidence than I did a month ago, if that helps. I’m predicting three points!”

Another was very confident, “Of course. MU is back to the feared team to play against, especially at Old Trafford.”

This fan was extremely confident, citing the two prior wins. “I’m confident. We didn’t just get lucky against City and Arsenal; we beat them with good play, good tactics, and good goals. I’ve no reason to believe a guy who worked out how to make both the top sides in the country look mid-table can’t do it against an actual mid-table side”.

A final fan had one specific player in mind, “Yes, of course Man Utd will win this Sunday with Fulham.. I Love To See Our Smiling Cunha play”.

However, it wasn’t all confidence, as one warned of false dawns. “Sort of! On current form, I’m expecting another quality performance. But I’ve also seen enough false dawns to fear the opposite”.
