Images and drone footage, all captured this week, show the impact across nearly 40 miles of coast.

The images have been captured around Covehithe, which is home to soft cliffs.

It is not the only area of Suffolk concerned about erosion, with 10 homes demolished along the clifftop in North End Avenue in Thorpeness since October.

Further south of Thorpeness, Bawdsey faces a similar fate as the coastline erodes quickly.

Drone footage has captured changes to the coastline. During the summer, a large amount of shingle was being eroded on the section of the path between Bawdsey Quay and the mouth of the River Deben.

The footpath may become inaccessible if the situation becomes any more dire.
