Nicola Peltz-Beckham’s billionaire father Nelson Peltz has spoken out about his daughter’s and son-in-law’s Brooklyn Beckham’s alleged feud with the Beckham family, during a public appearance in Miami yesterday.
The 83-year-old billionaire was speaking at WSJD’s Invest Live, and during a Q+A session he addressed the alleged feud, saying: “My daughter and the Beckhams are a whole other story and that’s not for coverage here today. But I’ll tell you my daughter is great, my son-in-law Brooklyn is great and I look forward to them having a long, happy marriage together.”
Nelson was then asked by an audience member if he ever gives the couple advice, to which replied: “I do. Sometimes they give me advice.”

Nelson’s comments come after Brooklyn broke the internet a few weeks ago by issuing a bombshell statement on his Instagram Story where he appeared to address the rumours of a feud between himself and his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham and his famous parents Victoria and David Beckham. In a series of posts Brooklyn said he felt he’d been left with “no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth.”
Brooklyn went onto claim himself and Nicola had suffered, “endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders.”
Brooklyn ended his post alleging: “Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even it it’s at the expense of our professional obligations. We’ve gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show ‘our perfect family’.”

Since the statement was released none of the Beckham family have directly addressed the claims raised by Brooklyn.
Back in October, Victoria told Zanna Roberts Rassi that it’s “so horrible” to read negative headlines about her family, adding “for me and David, the way we communicate with our children is so important.”
She later said on Today With Jenna & Friends: “I’m so proud of all of the kids. They are kind. They work hard.”
Following Brooklyn’s statement in January, David spoke out about children’s use of social media while at CNBC’s Squawk Box, where he said: “They [children] make mistakes. Children are allowed to make mistakes.”
And speaking back in 2023 to Cosmopolitan, Nicola also said: “I’ve said this so many times: There’s no feud. I don’t know. No one ever wants to write the nice things. It’s really weird, actually, whether it’s my life or someone else’s life or whatever, when you know the truth and then you read something totally wrong.”
Brooklyn appears to be close to his father-in-law, with the 83-year-old officiating the couple’s vow renewal ceremony back in August last year. Nicola and Brooklyn also appeared to spend Christmas with Nelson and Nicola’s mum Claudia.
Nelson has a reported net worth of $1.6billion and is a founding partner of Trian Partners, an investment management fund.
