Rugby fans will be able to watch full Six Nations matches from a completely new camera angle with no traditional commentary during the 2026 Championship.
Premier Sports has announced it will broadcast five live matches from the Six Nations next year and, alongside its main coverage, will offer supporters an alternative viewing option showing the entire game from suspended spider cam footage.
The dedicated feed, available on Premier Sports 2, will show the match from an aerial “from the skies” perspective with only referee microphone audio and stadium atmosphere.
There will be no punditry or conventional commentary, giving viewers what the broadcaster describes as a more immersive, tactical experience.
Instead, the TV audience will be able to access audio from the referee’s microphone only, with the broadcaster hoping to amplify the stadium atmosphere in viewers’ living rooms.
The concept will also allow supporters to study shape, spacing and tactical movement from above, a perspective more commonly used for analysis clips than as a full-match broadcast option.
Premier Sports will show one live match from each round of the 2026 Championship, including key fixtures involving Wales and Scotland. The games confirmed are:

Premier Sports joins BBC, ITV and S4C as part of the UK broadcast partnership for the 2026 Championship.
The move comes after it was announced that ITV will introduce split-screen advertising during live Six Nations matches this year, with short in-play advert breaks shown alongside the action.
For Welsh supporters in particular, the aerial option could offer a fresh way to analyse Steve Tandy’s tactical approach when France come to Cardiff on Sunday, February 15.
Premier Sports are showing three Wales matches in total, with the broadcaster holding rights to the home match against Scotland (Saturday, February 21) and the encounter with the Italians in Rome (Saturday, March 14).
