The news we’ve all been waiting for has materialised… Harry Styles is playing a show in Manchester, and thank the heavens, tickets are just £20. But there’s a catch.

When Harry announced that his brand new album ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally‘ would be unleashed on March 6th, the crowds (we) went wild – and now to celebrate this momentous occasion, he’s treating us to a one night only show on the album release date at Manchester’s Co-op Live.

In an Instagram post, Harry wrote: “One Night Only. Manchester. Co-op Live. March 6th.

“Ticket requests begin Friday. More details to follow.”

How to get Harry Styles Manchester tickets

From the “Ticket requests” portion, we can assume that this isn’t your ordinary ticket website rush, and by the £20 price slapped on the poster accompanying it, we’re left a bit bamboozled. Likely what will happen is a ballot may take place, allowing fans to request a ticket or two, and if chosen, that £20 price will apply – but we can’t all get that lucky.

The gesture won’t go unnoticed, though. This will be a homecoming gig of sorts for Harry, who was brought up in Holmes Chapel, just down the road. He is also a co-investor of the Co-op Live venue, so we won’t say we hadn’t thought this could be a possibility, but frankly, we never dared to dream that Harry Styles would come back to Manchester in the capacity of a ‘one night only’ show.

The announcement follows the news that Harry will be taking on a mammoth residency tour, hitting the likes of London, New York and Sao Paolo, and many were frustrated that he wouldn’t be paying a cheeky visit to his home – but with this one night only show in Manchester, and him being confirmed to perform at the BRIT Awards art the same venue on February 28th, we can feel the love nevertheless.

We will make sure to keep you updated – and good luck to all who try for a ticket for this very special gig.
