Jacob Devaney was captaining the Manchester United under-21 side before his exit. At just 18-years-old, he is now ready for a brand new challenge.

Devaney is a calm understated midfielder in the Michael Carrick mould, and while he could have benefited from working with him at Carrington, he may get the opportunity next season.

The teenager’s mission is now to use this loan spell to his benefit, stay fit, and return to Carrington sharper and stronger for pre-season.
