Emmerdale spoilers follow from Friday’s episode (6 February), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
Emmerdale’s Gabby Thomas makes her first on-screen appearance of the year tonight – and discovers huge changes have taken place at Home Farm in her absence. With Graham Foster now living at the mansion following his shock return from the dead, it seems nobody bothered to alert Gabby in advance.
Gabby headed away from the village shortly before Christmas, travelling off to Portugal to spend some time with her mum Bernice Blackstock. This meant that Gabby missed Kim’s downward spiral over the festive season, her family’s involvement in the Ray Walters murder case, and Graham’s jaw-dropping comeback.
In Friday’s episode, Gabby finally arrives home and can’t believe her eyes when she sees Graham casually sitting in Kim’s kitchen.
“You’re dead,” declares a confused Gabby, dropping the Portuguese tea set that she’s bought as a present for Kim.

Gabby isn’t alone in her reaction – Lydia Dingle is also at Home Farm for the first time in a while, after taking a few days off. She’s just as stunned to see Graham alive and well.
The chaotic scenes encourage Graham to finally take the bull by the horns and announce his return to the entire village at once. It’s clear that the current drip-feed approach is only dragging out the situation, forcing Graham to explain the outrageous story over and over.
Graham and Joe head to The Woolpack to spend some time out in public together – in full view of characters like Charity Dingle, Ryan Stocks and Billy Fletcher. How will they all react to the revelation that Graham didn’t really die in 2020?
