Fledgling Baltimore hardcore band The S.E.T. have announced that they have parted ways with their guitarist Brady Ebert. That outfit, who had revealed a March 06th release date for their debut EP “Self Evident Truth” last month, publicly announced Ebert had been let go today, February 06th

Ebert, a former member of Turnstile, had been active on social media in recent weeks, making disparaging comments about his former bandmates in Turnstile and engaging in other heated discussions with various individuals. As of press time, Ebert doesn’t appear to have addressed his ousting via his Instagram.

The S.E.T.‘s statement on the matter, issued today, February 06th, reads as follows:

“Brady is no longer a member of THE S.E.T. We will not stand by his ridiculous comments and behavior toward the members of our band and our community. We will continue to put on for Baltimore hardcore and thank everyone for their support.”

Ebert‘s 2022 departure from Turnstile was not an amicable affair, with the courts and a restraining order reportedly being involved.

Update: February 06th, 2026 06:08pm:

Ebert has since taken to his Instagram story, stating:

“Have no clue what statements “The set” (self evident truth— a name I came up with btw) but I haven’t made any statements about anyone except turnstile that arent completely true”

“Ive been blocked from the bands instagram for about a week and thought it was deleted until yesterday. And have texted with band members as recent as a day or two ago but they haven’t attempted to contact me”
