Moth has made it through to the Masked Singer UK final

Fans of The Masked Singer are convinced they’ve cracked the identity of Moth.

The ITV guessing game sees famous faces don elaborate costumes to hide their identity whilst performing popular songs, and has already unveiled some big names this series.

Celebrity reveals have included Sex Pistols legend John Lydon, rapper Professor Green and more recently singer Kate Nash and Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke.

During Saturday (February 7) night’s show, Moth performed a renditions of Olivia Dean’s Man I Need and Judy Kuhn’s Colors of the Wild from Disney’s Pocahontas.

Moth was overcome with emotion following their second performance and Mo Gilligan pointed out the studio could hear the mystery celebrity crying under the mask.

Viewers immediately flooded social media, claiming the celebrity’s identity was “so obvious”.

One fan declared: “Keisha from Sugababes defo in my opinion for moth”. Another agreed: “It’s definitely a Sugababes”

A third person reasoned: “Keisha Buchanan was 13 when Sugababes started. Twists and turns – Round Round. They had songs called Busters and 3 spoons of Suga. And if you ‘pause’ you push the button.”

Another suggested: “Moth is definitely either Keisha or Jamelia.”, reports the Liverpool Echo. Similarly confident, a fifth declared: “Moth is a trillion per cent Keisha Buchanan.”

The moth has previously stated, “It’s time for me to face the music,” leading fans to believe they have a musical or performance background.

They’ve also mentioned having “grown bigger than my wildest dreams,” suggesting an extensive or highly successful career.

The performer has described themselves as requiring “grace, power, and presence,” qualities fans believe indicate an experienced entertainer.

Another mysterious hint suggested they had “served in the West until my time was up and I returned to my rightful field,” leading some to suspect links to the West End or theatrical world.

Moth’s visual clues have featured a carrot and candlestick, alongside a framed photograph of comedian Ronnie Corbett. A blue jay or bluebird prop also appeared, prompting speculation about potential connections to the name “Jay” or the colour blue.

Alternative suggestions from both judges and audiences have included stars such as Molly Ringwald, Alexandra Burke, and Nicole Scherzinger.

Fans will finally find out Moth’s true identity next week as they compete against Conker and Toastie to be crowned champion.

The Masked Singer Final airs Saturday, February 14 on ITV1 and ITVX
