Noel Gallagher delivered a hilarious ode to his hometown during Oasis’ latest Wembley show.

The band last night (Saturday, August 2) played the fourth of seven shows at the national stadium in London.

He then dedicated the song to those who hail from the city saying: “This is for all Mancunians everywhere.”

Nicole Appleton, Liam Gallagher’s ex-wife was among those in attendance at last night’s show.

Guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs described it afterwards as ‘the best one yet.’

The band play one more show at Wembley tonight (Sunday, August 3) before the tour moves up to Edinburgh for three gigs at Murrayfield.

However they return to London for two further shows on September 27 and 28.
