Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field gave a rare insight into their family’s life as they celebrated the birthday of their youngest child. The Take That legend, 51, and his 46-year-old American wife Ayda are proud parents to four children.

The couple – who have been married since 2013 – are parents to daughters Theodora, aka 13-year-old Teddy and Colette, aka seven-year-old Coco, and sons Charlie, 11, and youngest child Beau. Over the weekend, Beau turned six-years-old and his parents proudly shared snaps of him online.

Taking to Instagram, Robbie and Ayda – who rarely shine a spotlight on their kids – uploaded a number of photos of their youngest son and his siblings. Snaps showed Beau surrounded by balloons – including a large silver balloon in the shapr of the number six – and playing on the beach with his brother and sisters.

Uploading the images to both of their main grids, Ayda and Robbie wrote: “100% BEAU 100% of the time… You are the best thing we’ve ever done. Happy 6th Birthday Beau #birthdayboy #beau #100percent.” The snaps quickly drew tens of thousands of likes and hundreds of comments from followers who wished the young lad many happy returns.

Both Robbie and Ayda work hard to keep their family life out of the spotlight – but both have proudly discussed their brood on occasion. Last year, while promoting his big screen biopic movie, Better Man, Robbie opened up about his experience of fatherhood.

He told People magazine: “I have deep-rooted foundations where there was only chaos, and this little piggy that built a house made of straw. This little piggy now made a house out of concrete, and it is rooted to the spot. And the house isn’t impervious to winds and storms, but it still stays standing. That’s the difference.”

And asked about balancing his wild on stage life with a quieter home life, he said: “You try your best, but there’s four little voices from four little souls that have wants and needs and are very loud. And you have a wife that you need to negotiate with, and she needs to negotiate with you, how you are as a human being and your needs and your wants.”

He added at the time: “But I will say this, I wrote a song called Feel, and it said, ‘I just want to feel real love in the home that I live in.’ I got it. I manifested it, and it’s beautiful.”

Meanwhile, former Loose Women panelist Ayda has also shared insight into how she and Robbie parent their children – and raised eyebrows when she discussed the way the family travel. She told The Sunday Times: “My kids fly economy whenever we fly. I turn left and they turn right. That’s terrible. I mean, people will think I’m such a d***.

“There’s no interest in raising brats. My kids will know [economy] is where they will sit in a plane until they can pay to put themselves in a different part of the plane.”

However, she previously opened up about the unbreakable bond she formed with her children when they arrived – explaining that she fell in love with her oldest child, Teddy, the second she arrived into the world. She gushed to the Made by Mammas podcast in 2020: “The bond was there instantly. It’s like the biggest blind date ever, right? You’re like, ‘What are they going to look like? Who is this person? Oh my God, we’re together forever now.’

“Luckily with me, once she was in my arms, I was just grateful. I just felt so lucky to be her mummy. I just felt overwhelmed with this feeling of, ‘My little pink power is here and she’s on my chest’. It was just a huge moment of relief.”

Last year, Robbie shared that he and Ayda have banned their kids from having phones. He told ITV news: “They don’t have phones. They’re not going to have phones for as long as humanly possible. And you know they’re gonna go, they are at school, ‘Other people have phones, why can’t I have a phone?’ Tough.”

Sharing his fear that technology is having a negative impact on modern day children, he said: “I’m 51, I can’t deal with the corrosive nature of the Internet and things. It hurts me. It ruins my day. How can I give this drug to a 12-year-old? How can I give this drug to a seven-year-old? It’s abuse.”
