Hull KR are ready to defend their titles in 2026.

After delivering the greatest season in their Super League history, Hull KR are back for more – gunning to defend every title in 2026 and chase down a fourth trophy in a blockbuster World Club Challenge showdown with NRL giants Brisbane Broncos later this month.

Last year’s treble winners kick off the new Super League campaign – tipped to be bigger and better than ever – away to competition newcomers York Knights on February 12, and belief is sky-high inside Willie Peters’ camp that they can go all the way again.

“We wanted to go further in pre-season than we did last year, and I feel like we have done that,” 2024 Man of Steel Mikey Lewis said.

“What we did last year was phenomenal, but it’s about pushing ourselves more now. We all want the same thing again, and that’s been the message across pre-season.

“There were few games last year we weren’t happy with, but we want to keep improving ourselves every week and show we can play even better. It’s going to be a long season again, but we’re willing to do everything to get success again.

“Everyone knows the belief we have in our squad. It’s a great determination. We don’t have to do much talking, we’d rather do the talking on the field.”

For the first time in the Super League era, Hull KR are preparing to be the hunted, with the likes of Wigan Warriors, Leeds Rhinos and a rejuvenated St Helens all desperate to prise silverware away from Sewell Group Craven Park.

While Rovers have lost two influential figures in Michael McIlorum and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves to retirement, head coach Peters has bolstered his squad with added depth and quality. New arrivals include 2023 Dream Team prop Tom Amone, experienced Australian Karl Lawton and highly rated prospect Jack Charles.

“We’ve got to turn up with the attitude to win every week, and that’s what we’ll do,” livewire half-back Lewis continued.

“It’s going to get tough this year, and it’s about sticking together and being the most connected team in the competition. You’ll get your rewards at the end of that.”

Hull KR face one of the toughest starts to a campaign in recent memory. After York, they’ll do battle with NRL champions Brisbane Broncos at a sold-out MKM Stadium, then days later travel to Las Vegas to be a part of the showcase event in the United States.

Lewis, 24, added: “We’re embracing the start of the season – it’s exciting. It’s going to be a couple of fantastic weeks for the club and for the sport, and we’ve got a job to do – that’s to win the World Club Challenge, and then go over to Las Vegas and get two points and make it a memorable month.”
