The Danish broadcaster DR has revealed the format for the final of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026, which takes place this weekend.

Dansk Melodi Grand Prix will once again have a two-phase final, with voting held across two rounds. In the first round the eight acts will perform with the top three progressing to the Super Final. The top three will be determined by 50% televoting and 50% jury voting.

In the Super Final, voting will start again. The public will vote again to select their favourite from the remaining three, while the jury will also be voting. This follows the same format as the 2025 final.

The running order in round one is as follows:

Sander Sanchez – “Two Spirits”
Late Runner – “Can U Feel It?”
Søren Torpegaard Lund – “Før vi går hjem” (Before we go home)
Sissal – “Infinity”
Emil Otto – “Copenhagen Noir”
Myrkur – “Touch My Love And Die”
Lasse Skriver – “Roaring Heart”
Ericka Jane – “Death Of Me”

Voting during Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026 will also be opened to viewers in the Faroe Islands and Greenland, where app voting and SMS voting will be available.

Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026 will take place in Frederikshavn on February 14. TV and radio host Sara Bro and actor Alex Høgh Andersen are the duo that will host the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026. This will be the third time that Sara Bro hosts the event, having previously hosted in 2024 and 2025.

Sissal represented Denmark at Eurovision 2025 with “Hallucination”, bringing Denmark to the final for the first time since 2019. In the final, she finished in 23rd place with 47 points.
