Did Bron Breakker really injure his knee on night one of WWE SummerSlam?
Last night in the opening contest of SummerSlam, Roman Reigns and Jey Uso defeated Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Following the match, Breakker had to be helped to the back due to what appeared to be a knee injury.
We would later see Breakker in the closing moments of SummerSlam with his knee wrapped up. While initial reports last night suggested that Breakker was okay, we’re now hearing conflicting reports on the subject.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select) received a fan report from someone who attended Bron Breakker’s photo-op today. Breakker was an hour late arriving at the event and came in with a noticeable limp. Breakker utilized a chair for the majority of the session, and the fan said his knee appeared to be swollen.
In asking around, Sapp reports that a WWE source indicated that Breakker would be evaluated and was hopeful this wouldn’t be anything bad.
