The Keady man behind Darren Morgan Design has been shortlisted as a double finalist in the prestigious KBB Review Retail and Design Awards 2026, marking a rare achievement for an Irish designer.
The studio has been recognised in Bathroom Designer of the Year (projects £15,000–£30,000) and Kitchen Designer of the Year (projects over £50,000), reflecting its breadth of expertise across residential projects of all scales.
The winners will be announced at the black-tie awards ceremony on March 2, 2026, at the NEC, Birmingham — one of the most anticipated evenings in the kitchen and bathroom design calendar.

The recognition highlights Darren Morgan Design’s trailblazing, design-led approach, which prioritises independent advice, clarity and creativity over sales.
The studio bridges the critical space between architectural plans and finished interiors, allowing clients to fully visualise and refine their ideas through high-quality CGI and digital animation before engaging with suppliers. Projects range from bespoke luxury kitchens and fitted furniture to multi-room or whole-home schemes, all designed to combine style, function and value.
Engaging Darren Morgan Design offers more than award-winning design; it provides access to decades of industry expertise and a curated network of trusted partners. While the focus remains on design first, clients have the reassurance that, if required, the studio can support the realisation of projects through its established ecosystem — ensuring ambitious ideas are achievable without compromise.
In this way, Darren Morgan Design reimagines the way interiors are conceived, giving clients confidence, control and a clear pathway from concept to completion.

Commenting on the double nomination, Darren Morgan said: “To have both the kitchen and bathroom from the same home shortlisted is incredibly special and a real testament to the client’s trust in our process.
“It’s hugely rewarding to be recognised alongside the best in the industry and to see how our design-first approach continues to deliver meaningful, lasting results for our clients.”
Darren Morgan Design’s recognition in both categories highlights the studio’s broad expertise and commitment to thoughtful, refined design solutions across residential projects of varying scale.

It also marks a notable moment for Ireland within the KBB design community: Darren Morgan is understood to be the only Irish designer shortlisted in both kitchen and bathroom categories in the same year and has previously been honoured with multiple design awards at this event.
The studio is based at 4 Upper Darkley Road, Keady, Armagh, BT60 3RE – consultations are by pre-arrangement only.
