Emmerdale spoilers follow from Wednesday’s episode (11 February), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
Emmerdale schemer Joe Tate proves that he’s the nastiest resident of Home Farm tonight – as he defies warnings and refuses to show mercy in his fight with Moira Dingle. While Kim urges Joe not to cross the line in the battle for Butler’s Farm, there’s no stopping him as he eyes up the prize.
Wednesday’s episode sees celebrations begin at Kim’s mansion, as Joe breaks the news that the Sugdens have agreed to sell their stake in Moira’s farm. Kim is impressed by Joe’s progress, although she makes it clear that she’d rather not know the shady details.
Next up, Joe hopes to prey on Moira’s misery by securing her share too – which would give the Tate family total control. But in an unexpected move, Kim urges him to back off while Moira is struggling in prison.
“I’m not sure we should be taking advantage of her current situation,” Kim notes. “We will get our hands on Moira’s share. But we’ll be graceful about it. No moves until this Celia mess is sorted out, one way or another.”

Joe scoffs at the suggestion of passing up such a great opportunity, but Graham Foster warns that, for once, he agrees with Kim.
“No moves until I say so, okay?” Kim reiterates.
Of course, Joe has other ideas and privately confides in Graham about how he won’t be listening to a word that Kim just said.
With no end in sight for Moira’s ordeal, is it only a matter of time before she gives up the fight and sells up to Joe? And with Joe now defying Kim after everything she’s done for him, is his behaviour spiralling out of control?

Moira is currently being held on remand after being charged with a string of serious offences – double murder, modern slavery and human trafficking. While viewers know that she’s innocent, the evidence seems to be stacked up against her thanks to Joe and Celia’s separate attempts to frame her.
Natalie J Robb, who plays Moira, has already confirmed that she’s signed a new one-year contract and will be staying at Emmerdale. This seems to suggest that Moira will ultimately be free again, but will she have the farm to come back to?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
