Nicolas Cage’s new Spider-Man series has dropped a first look alongside casting details. Spider-Noir was first announced last year and will see the actor reprise his role from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse – though this time in a live-action setting.

The ’30s-set series follows the titular character, who’s “a seasoned, down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city’s one and only superhero”.

A series of stills from the MGM+ and Prime Video Marvel show have now been unveiled, showing Cage in character as Ben Reilly/Spider-Noir including in his Spidey get-up, as well as some of the other cast.

Among the supporting stars are Fargo’s Lamorne Morris as journalist and Ben’s best friend Robbie Robertson, Sinners’ Li Jun Li as Cat Hardy, the star of New York’s premiere nightclub, and The Hunting Wives’ Karen Rodriguez as Ben’s “smart, scrappy, and loyal secretary” Janet.

Also on board are H is for Hawk’s Brendan Gleeson, Boardwalk Empire’s Jack Huston, as well as The Righteous Gemstones’ Lukas Haas, The Umbrella Academy’s Cameron Britton, Weapons’ Cary Christopher and The Wire’s Michael Kostroff.
