Celtic left it late again to beat Livingston 2-1 after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain turned in a debut that he will never forget at Parkhead.
With the scores tied at 1-1 and Celtic running out of ideas, Oxlade-Chamberlain popped up in the 91st minute to curl in a superb goal to keep Celtic’s title hopes alive.
With six points separating Celtic from Hearts and just one point from Rangers, the Bhoys are still in a good place to successfully defend their title.
Stephen Welsh sums up late Motherwell goal vs Rangers
Welsh was over the moon with his strike as the on loan Celtic defender said his team deserved a draw but were disappointed not to win.
Welsh told Sky Sports, “I think it just shows the fight that we’ve got in the changing room. I thought it was really unlucky, and to be in the game, but I thought we’d at least deserve something out of the game.
🗣️ “We definitely deserved something from the game, although we are still disappointed with a point”
🗣️ “We fancy ourselves against anyone just now – it’s a great feeling”

“So yeah, delighted with the finish.”
