Katie Price and Peter Andre had a hit ITV reality TV show called Katie & Peter in the 2000s and the former glamour model is reportedly looking to recreate that with new hubby, Lee Andrews
Katie Price to recreate Peter Andre heyday with desperate move
Amid reports of financial distress, Katie Price‘s rumoured Dubai move may be more lucrative than first thought. The Mirror has reported that money troubles left Katie unable to afford rent in the UK, and this, along with a desire to be with her new husband Lee Andrews, sent her jetting off to Dubai.
But a pal now tells us she’s also planning to launch a new life there and reinvent herself in Dubai. In a new home, with her new husband, she hopes to return to the success she had with her reality TV shows with her former husband Peter Andre, under the umbrella of Katie & Peter. The shows, which started in 2004 with When Jordan Met Peter, lasted until 2009. At the time of the last series, Katie & Peter: Stateside, which aired in 2009, she was said to be worth an estimated £30 million.

Though Katie’s net worth rose to £45 million, she would eventually file for bankruptcy not once, but twice. Currently, Katie has been ordered to use 40% of her OnlyFans income to pay off the her debts, in a deal that is set to last until February next year. As such, a source told the Mirror that: “Katie doesn’t have the money to keep renting a place in the UK. She’ll be with Lee in Dubai.”
Since their whirlwind relationship became public in January 2026, Katie and Lee have been posting plenty of loved up pics with each other to their social media accounts, including their engagement, wedding and reunion in Dubai.
Now a source tells the Mirror that Katie is planning a reality TV show in the Middle East, similar to what she had with Peter. “She would love a reality show in Dubai a bit like what she had with Pete,” the source said. “That’s what she wants with this new bloke.”
They added: “She loves the life out there. Everything is brand new, glitzy, glamorous, the nightlife is amazing. So she’s going to enjoy that. She has bills and debts to pay so he’s making a desperate attempt to make money quickly and thinks a reality show is it. She made a lot of money back in the day and thinks she can do it again.”
Katie is no stranger to reality TV shows. In 2002, she had her first series, Jordan, which ran for three seasons and has gone on to have a total of 24 shows, including the nine she did with Peter. The star also has a podcast and a YouTube series.
New hubby Lee has also had a taste of the camera. He has appeared in a short film about a man who found his wife dead under suspicious circumstances and can be found on his YouTube channel under the name Altum Ratio.

The film, posted in 2019, lists Lee as an actor, producer and business mogul. He is reportedly up for starring in a reality show with Katie. The source said on Lee joining a series: “He likes the publicity. So if it gets headlines, he’ll be into it.”
Katie is reportedly looking to a fellow reality star for guidance. Dawn Ward, the wife of Ashley Ward, was on The Real Housewives of Cheshire before moving to Dubai in 2023. Dawn, who previously told OK! that moving to Dubai has been “a really good decision, not just for me but the whole family”, is said to be the inspiration for the kind of life Katie wants.
“She learned from Dawn Ward, who has gone out there,” the source said. They added that the move represents “new beginnings” for Katie. But her family remains worried.
Amid reported concerns from her family, Katie has not done her weekly podcast with her sister Sophie and this is not looking likely to return in the near future. A source previously told Mirror: “Kate married Lee without telling anyone – the whole family are completely horrified. It is moving very fast and they are concerned about Kate’s frame of mind.”
Katie has admitted to struggling with her health recently. On one of her last podcast episodes, she remarked that her drastic weight loss had pushed her to go to a doctor. “I know I look gaunt but Jesus,” she said. “But yeah I look like I’m ill – hence why I’m going to the doctors tomorrow. I don’t know how many times I have to say to people, ‘Yes I know I’ve lost weight,’ and there’s obviously a reason I said it to the doctor.”
Even as she packed for her honeymoon with Lee, Katie expressed concern at her own weight. In a vlog about packing, she picked up one of jogging bottoms and remarked: “God, my two legs would fit in one leg on that.”
Talking to the Mirror a source said Katie sees Dubai as a fresh start, even if her family are not on board. “Her family are obviously very worried all they want is for her to be happy.”
Katie’s representatives chose not to comment.
