A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after another man died in hospital following what police have described as a “targeted attack”.

Suhail Choudry, 35, was found with serious head injuries in Flasby Street, Keighley, on Sunday, and died from his injuries three days later.

West Yorkshire Police said a 27-year-old man, who was initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, had been rearrested on suspicion of murder in connections with his death.

A 30-year-old man also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder earlier this week and a 33-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, have been released on bail, the force said.
