Speaking at his pre-match press conference in North Wales, the Blues boss said that versatile attacker Tudor Mendel and left-back Somto Boniface are likely to be part of the 20-man matchday squad.
The duo, who were recruited into the academy from Anderlecht and Chelsea respectively, have been key players in John McGreal’s high-flying Under-21s PL2 team this season.
“Somto Boniface will be in the squad,” said McKenna. “He’s been doing really well, is training with us every day at the moment and progressing all the time – so he’ll definitely be in the matchday squad.
“Tudor Mendeal has been with us as well this week. We’ll wait and see on a couple of players availability-wise, but it’s not impossible that he could be involved.”
