Fans of Coronation Street think Jodie Ramsey is hiding something very dark, and it could lead to a killer twist.
The character debuted as the estranged sister of Shona Platt in January, and it’s clear she’s not being totally honest about her past. Things escalated this week when we learned about her and Shona’s dad’s health apparently deteriorating after Shona and then Jodie’s mum left.
It was clear Jodie may have been to blame for her dad being in hospital though after a sinister warning to him. Then on Wednesday we saw her with a mystery box containing various items.
There was a USB, a bracelet and a locket containing two pictures in it. Amid theories surrounding the identities of the children in the photos, some fans have questioned if the box and its contents are a clue to something much darker at play.

Fans noticed how random all the items in the box were, and wondered if Jodie was collecting things. A lighter with the name ‘Jonesy’ written on it paired with the photographs in the locket made some fans think they were not her belongings.
Viewers questioned if Jodie could be a killer in a shocking twist, and if the items belonged to the people she had killed. Taking to social media one fan said: “Is the stuff in her keepsake box hers or are they trophies?”
Another viewer asked: “I dunno, maybe the box is her trophy cabinet of all the weird s**t she’s done over the years? That’s the vibe I got.” A third fan simply said: “Serial killer.”
A further theory read: “I’m wondering about what else is in that box and what it all means. Could it be trophies and could we have another Meena on our hands?

“I’m most intrigued about whats on the USB and I wonder if this is tied into the Graham thing.” Another comment read: “I am intrigued about this box though and the contents inside it, everyone’s focussing on the locket but what about the USB and the rest.”
The questions and theories kept on coming too, with one fan saying: “Anyone else thinking Jodie is a serial killer and her box of trinkets are ‘souvenirs’ from her victims???” Other fans admitted their concern for her father.
After the scene on Monday where she said she no longer needed him, some fans wondered if she planned to kill him to silence him. A fan said: “Uh oh! Jodie’s going full on fruitloop. Is she going to kill their Dad?” Another posted: “She’s gonna kill her dad and frame Shona for it!”
