Cruz Beckham had his biggest cheerleaders firmly in his corner as he gave his first ever interview live on air – with proud parents Victoria Beckham and David Beckham tuning in and texting throughout.

The 19-year-old musician joined Chris Evans on Virgin Radio UK’s Breakfast Show this morning alongside his band The Breakers – made up of Dan Ewins, Dario Scott and Telmo Seixas – where they performed their new track For Your Love live in the studio.

But while Cruz may have been cool and collected on the mic, it seems mum and dad were feeling the emotion. Chris revealed that David had already been in touch earlier in the show after he played music from The Stone Roses.

“We played Stone Roses this morning and your dad texted me,” Chris told Cruz. “‘You can’t get enough Stone Roses.’”

Later, the presenter gave the superstar couple a sweet shoutout live on air. “Good morning to mum and dad. They know who they are. In the gym and on the school run. Tears are being shed. Don’t worry, the pleasure is all ours.”

Opening up about his musical memories, Cruz admitted his first gig was likely watching mum’s iconic girl group, Spice Girls, before revealing his dad had taken him to see The Stone Roses at Old Trafford.

And it’s clear the Manchester legends hold a special place in his heart. Asked which record he’d rescue if disaster struck at home, Cruz didn’t hesitate – choosing The Stone Roses’ self-titled vinyl, passed down from David’s own collection.

“He’s given me a big box of his old records,” Cruz smiled.

Brother Romeo was also proudly listening, sharing a snap on Instagram as the Beckham clan rallied round their rising star.

This comes after Cruz made a desperate attempt to reach out to his brother, Brooklyn, with a bold statement on social media.

Last year, Cruz unfollowed Brooklyn due to the family’s sad feud. After Brooklyn went nuclear on his entire family in a no holds barred six-page Instagram takedown last month, hopes of a reconciliation appeared dashed for good. However, now Cruz appears to be offering an olive branch as he posted a snap of himself, Romeo and Brooklyn, giggling when they were children. He also shared a snap of his brothers with little sister, Harper, all dressed in bee keeper outfits in an adorable throwback.

It comes after Brooklyn revealed he still has his tattoo tributes to his brothers – despite covering up his inking to his mum and dad. The amateur chef is yet to remove his tattoos dedicated to his siblings, even though they have lost touch amid the bitter family feud.

In new snaps published by the Mirror today, Brooklyn can still be seen sporting his famous ‘Brotherhood’ tattoo on his leg, which he got has a tribute to Cruz and Romeo.

Seen wearing matching outfits with wife, Nicola, the ink was on full display, suggesting there may be a reconciliation on the cards, even though Brooklyn said in his seething statement last month he didn’t want to speak to his family again.

He also slammed his brothers in his bombshell post, claiming they had been “sent” to block him on social media.

Despite Cruz’s recent Instagram offering, brother, Romeo, proved he is firmly ‘team mum and dad’ as he unveiled his latest tattoo – as the family’s ongoing feud with older brother Brooklyn continues.

Posting a photo of his new tattoo to Instagram, the word ‘family’ in italic writing can be seen on the back of his neck under a cross and wings, which he already had.

Underneath the post – shared in Romeo’s stories, but posted on Soho tattoo parlour Fine Line Hearts Club’s account – fans wrote how much they ‘loved’ his new body art. But one person hinted at the ongoing family feud, commenting: “Minus Brooklyn.” Another chimed in: “Family is FOREVER.”

However, Brooklyn would appear to disagree after he was recently spotted with an altered tattoo on his right arm.

The ink initially showed an anchor and included the word ‘Dad’ in the centre. Underneath, it read: “Love you Bust.”

Buster is thought to be a shared nickname between Brooklyn and his dad in happier times. But the words are now thought to have been removed and have been redesigned to show three nondescript shapes across the anchor as tensions continue to swirl.
