A man is in hospital after coming off his bike during an attempted police stop in Liverpool.
Merseyside Police has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct following the incident in Back Falkner Street South.
The force said the man came off his bike at 15:15 GMT following an attempt by officers to stop him and “carry out inquiries”.
“First aid was administered by officers at the scene. An ambulance was called, and the man was taken to hospital,” the force added.
