Nottingham Forest have sacked Sean Dyche following an alarming run of form that has allowed West Ham to close the gap to the Reds to just three points.
The race for Premier League survival does look set to go down to the wire, and for Forest, this is a nervous time for everyone, especially Evangelos Marinakis.
Vitor Pereira is set for the Nottingham Forest job as Sean Dyche’s replacement. Are you happy with the appointment?

Dyche was sacked after Marinakis held talks with senior players regarding how they felt things were going under the head coach.
That conversation led to Dyche’s position becoming untenable, and he, along with his backroom team, departed the club after just 114 days in charge.
Naturally, pundits have started to have their say on the decision taken by Forest, with Ally McCoist the latest to discuss the departure.

McCoist was quizzed on the decision by Marinakis to sack Dyche with Forest just three points clear of the relegation zone and with a last-32 match to play in the Europa League.
He believes the Reds are foolish to dismiss Dyche and never had any concerns that Forest would go down whilst the former head coach was in charge.
He told TNT Sports: “We need somebody to stay up. Who do we get? Sean Dyche would be the name a lot of people would throw up, right?
“I actually think Forest would have stayed up under Sean Dyche. I really do. I genuinely do, and you see more of them than me. I think it’s a heck of a gamble.”
Lack of research from quality pundits is alarming
McCoist is one of the nation’s sweethearts when it comes to punditry, with his jovial and professional persona making him a very easy listen.
However, he’s wrong in this instance, with Forest sinking without trace under Dyche and in real danger of being caught with a drab brand of football served up by the former head coach.
Forest had to make a change, given that the players had fallen out of love with his dated and prehistoric training methods coming into matches.
Now, the hope will be that the change can have the desired impact and Forest can start to climb the Premier League table with just 12 matches of the season remaining.
