Moira Dingle in Emmerdale might not get justice just yet on the ITV soap despite a killer confession.
As her loved ones hope that a development in a case could free her, Moira is not so sure. In the latest episode of the soap, we saw the fallout of Bear Wolf confessing to killing Ray Walters.
Flashbacks last month revealed the moment Bear accidentally killed villain Ray, after Ray decided to murder Paddy Dingle, Bear’s son, and teenager Dylan Penders. Dylan and Paddy helped cover up the crime only for the body to be found.
Bear’s crime came about after months of being manipulated by Ray and Celia Daniels, exploited in a harrowing modern slavery storyline. Bear finally confessed last week, unable to cope with what he had done.
News of his confession left Cain Dingle hopeful it would help Moira, who has been charged with the murders of Celia and Anya, the latter being a fellow victim like Bear. Bear knows how Anya died and who was to blame.

Cain was confident that Bear telling the police everything could prove Moira had nothing to do with Celia and Ray’s crimes, or Celia and Anya’s deaths. Moira wasn’t so sure though, suggesting the evidence was still stacked against her.
Celia had framed her well, and Joe Tate’s own framing with the ID documents only cemented Moira looking even more guilty. Moira pointed out that with her DNA at the gravesite, with her blanket used to wrap Anya’s body, and it being on her land, was not a good look.
This and the documents has implied her guilt leading to her arrest and her then being locked up. Moira wasnt ready to get her hopes up, telling Cain it was unlikely that Bear’s confession and his version of events would help her, while she soon said “who knows”, no doubt hopeful it might change things.

Actress Natalie J Robb recently told The Mirror what the future might hold for her character, teasing an exit was not on the horizon. She spilled: “I think that would be the first thing they would say to you, they’d say this is going to be it.
“I’ve been lucky enough just to get another contract so I think they would obviously have to say, sorry you’re going to be leaving and this is gonna be your out. So when they just told me about the story I didn’t think that I would be leaving.
“I just didn’t really know how long I was going to be in for, and how serious the allegations were going to be at that point.” Natalie added that Moira would face drama in prison.
She said: “She’s going to have to stick up for herself because when word spreads in prison [about the modern slavery], you’re gonna get people obviously taking offence to that and she’s going to have to prove herself as well in prison. I think you’re going to see the odd black eye and grazed knuckles and things like that with Moira but she’ll always fight back.”
