A new trailer for Home and Away has hinted at a terrifying stalking ordeal for Lacey Miller as new character Holden Dwyer becomes obsessed with her. Played by former Neighbours star Lach Millar, the Summer Bay newcomer has been pursuing a relationship with Lacey, who’s still struggling after the death of boyfriend Theo Poulos.

In the new clip, Holden insists the connection he feels with Lacey is “meant to be” and doesn’t take no for an answer when she tells him she isn’t interested and wants to be friends.

“I just can’t imagine being with anyone new right now,” she says.

Awkwardness gives way to concern when Lacey returns home to Holden and a bouquet of red roses, leaving her convinced he’s been “watching [her]”.

“I’m falling in love with you, and I’m not gonna let anyone get in the way,” an angered Holden, who makes up excuses to be in Summer Bay so he could see Lacey, also says in the clip.

Lacey confides in her loved ones about Holden’s behaviour, standing her ground and telling him to “get away”, though it seems that he isn’t going anywhere.

During an altercation with Lacey, Mackenzie Booth tries to intervene but Holden assures her Lacey is “fine”. As he continues advancing towards a frightened Lacey, Mali Hudson spots them and rushes to help.

After a furious Mali punches him in the face, Holden warns him: “You’re going to regret this.”

How far will Holden go? And is Mali on his radar too now?
