Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie is in talks to join upcoming comedy Peaked, following two former popular high school girls who try to relive their glorious past at their class 10-year reunion.
The star-studded film from A24 features The Bear and Shiva Baby’s Molly Gordon and Allie Levitan, with Gordon directing from a script she co-wrote with Levitan.
The duo stars opposite Sex Education stars Emma Mackey and Simone Ashley, as well as Big Little Lies and Jurassic Park icon Laura Dern, Levon Hawke, Mitra Jouhari, and Gabby Windey.
As reported by Deadline, Storrie’s role is being kept under wraps, with details about the movie being equally thin on the ground. Peaked is understood to be set during a class reunion where two former popular girls who ‘peaked’ in high school attempt to bask in their teenage years’ fame.
Gordon’s second feature as a director following 2023’s Theater Camp, Peaked is produced by A24 alongside David Hinojosa, Zach Nutman and Gordon, with Levitan serving as executive producer.

If confirmed, Peaked would mark Storrie’s first film role since he achieved world fame with Canadian queer hockey romance Heated Rivalry, in which he protrays Russian player Ilya Rozanov opposite Hudson Williams’ Shane Hollander. The characters are the captains of two rival NHL teams who begin a secret, all-consuming, enemies-to-lovers affair.
Storrie previously appeared in minor roles in projects including Joker: Folie à Deux, where he appeared as the young inmate who stabs Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur to death in the final scenes. Following the release of the movie, some fans thought the killing might signify a passing of the torch to Storrie’s character as the new Joker, though this hasn’t been confirmed.

Following his breakout role in Heated Rivalry, Storrie is now set to host Saturday Night Live on 28 February with Mumford & Sons as the musical guest.
He’s also starring in Transaction Planet, an indie sci-fi film he also wrote and directed and said to focus on an alien spirit inhabiting the body of a 25-year-old human man.
