Today’s biggest transfer stories

Liverpool are reportedly weighing up a move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lucas Bergvall this summer. The 20-year-old is highly rated in North London but hie gametime has been restricted this season with Chelsea making an approach in January.

Barcelona presidential candidate Marc Ciria believes Lionel Messi is the key to convincing Erling Haaland to join the club. Speaking ahead of the election on March 15th, Ciria said: “We know that Messi’s future is linked to Barcelona. To sign Haaland, we must bring Messi back as a strategic partner.”

Manchester United are willing to let Jadon Sancho leave for free at the end of the season. The 25-year-old’s contract expires in the summer but United have an option to extend a further year. Old Trafford chiefs, however, won’t activate that as they aren’t confident of receiving a substantial fee.
