Calvin Harris and his wife Vick Hope have announced the safe arrival of their first child.
The Scots DJ took to Instagram to announce the news, alongside a series of snaps of the arrival of his baby boy.
The pair appeared to welcome their son at their home in Ibiza in a tranquil water birth, as the Dumfries-born musician, real name Adam Wyles, posted snaps of the Radio 1 star in a birth pool with stunning views of trees outside.
The proud new dad said alongside his post: “20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here! My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah.”
In another picture, Vick can be seen in the pool surrounded by candles and flowers as she prepared to welcome Micah.

The last few snaps the doting new dad posted were of Vick’s placenta being turned into capsules.
The placenta is an organ attached to the womb that delivers oxygen and nutrients to a growing baby. It is expelled from the body after the baby is delivered and unless it is donated for stem cells, is usually discarded as medical waste.
Consuming your afterbirth is becoming increasingly popular in the UK. While some claim placentophagy help improve skin and nails, more energy, plenty of milk when breastfeeding and a lower chance of post-natal depression, many medics also reckon it could be harmful as the placenta can also contain bad bacteria like group B streptococcus.
Many celebrities and influencers are taking their placenta in tablet form, with Kim Kardashian, Love Island’s Danni Dyer, Charlotte Dawson and many others turning their placenta into pills after giving birth – and now Vick is following suit.
Many famous faces flocked to the comments to congratulate the couple.
Scots footballer Andy Robertson wrote: “Congratulations mate.”
Singer Pixie Lott said: “Congrats vick and calvin!!!! so lovely.”
Former Love Island host Laura Whitmore penned: “Congrats to you both! Enjoy the magic.”

While fellow Scots DJ Arielle Free said: “Welcome to the world wee Micah.”
Back in May, Vick confirmed the news she was expecting after hints had been circulating online due to pictures from a baby shower the couple held.
Despite usually keeping their relationship away from the spotlight, Vick and music icon Calvin have occasionally shared snippets of their lives, including details of their festival-themed nuptials in September 2023.
Ahead of her maternity leave, the 35-year-old told listeners: “I should say that this is my final week. I wanted to share that with you because we’ve had such a lovely time over the last few weeks.

“That time is coming to an end for a bit because I’m going on maternity leave next week.”
Vick also revealed why she refrained from making a formal pregnancy announcement, stating: “This is not an announcement, by the way. People keep saying are you going to announce, are you going to announce?
“And I’m like, I’m not the King. I do not see the point, it’s not for me. I’ll be honest, I struggle with anything that’s personal or private.
“I will tell you a story about eating a kebab out of a bin, that’s one thing. But there’s a line and so I’ve never been that big on sharing. Particularly because I’ve just been enjoying this privately and quietly.”
