Three American players are into the semifinals of the ATP Delray Beach Open. We have predictions for both matchups as ATP Next Gen sensation Learner Tien bids for the final.

Flavio Cobolli vs Sebastian Korda

Korda won a pair of meetings in 2024. Coming off an upset against Casper Ruud, and previous wins over U.S. players Mackenzie McDonald and Alex Michelsen, it’s been a good week for the 25-year-old. Korda is now 11-6 on the season. Cobolli, 23, has had an easier path to the semis with wins over Terence Atmane and Coleman Wong. It’s been a slow start to the year for the Italian, this is his best result of the season. The road likely ends here, as Korda’s power should prove too much on this surface.

Prediction: Korda in 2

Learner Tien vs Tommy Paul

Tien vs Paul is a star-filled matchup at ATP Delray Beach, wins over Miomir Kecmanovic and Frances Tiafoe were nip and tuck affairs for Tien, who came out ahead and is playing his best tennis since the AO quarterfinals. The veteran Paul stunned Taylor Fritz in the quarterfinals, after beating Corentin Moutet and Adam Walton. Paul already has 10 wins this season, and given Tien’s challenges this week, Paul looks to be in good shape. Prediction: Paul in 2
