It has been quite a few months for Jacob Bridgeman and new wife Haley Bridgeman (formerly Farmer). Jacob is making a name for himself with a strong start to the 2026 season, including an impressive performance at the Genesis Invitational for his first victory on the PGA Tour.

The golfer revealed that the couple got married at the end of 2025. Jacob Bridgeman took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt message about his new wife Haley, labeling 2025 as “life changing.”

“2025 theme: Life Changing,” Jacob noted in a January 5, 2026, message on Instagram. “I am so grateful for such an amazing year. I accomplished things in golf that I’ve dreamed about since I was a little kid.

“I competed with my heros. Developed and grew friendships. Was shown how incredible my support system around me is. And I had the best day of my life when I married my favorite person in the world.”

Haley hinted that the wedding took place at the end of 2025 in a separate social media post.

“Ended 2025 on a high note!!! 🤍” Haley said in a January 2, Instagram message.

Now, Jacob is poised for a strong 2026 with a hot start to the PGA Tour season.

Jacob turned pro in 2022 earning nearly $7 million in prize money during his career, per the PGA Tour. The golfer has already posted two top-10 finishes in 2026 and is poised to add a third to the list following the Genesis Invitational.

Jacob and Haley’s wedding website indicated that the couple got married on December 19, 2025, in Greenville, South Carolina. The couple met while both were students at Clemson.

“Haley and Jacob grew up just 20 minutes apart, but their paths didn’t cross until their time at Clemson,” the couple detailed on their wedding website. “Introduced through mutual friends, they started spending time together in group settings, slowly realizing there was something special between them.

“Their first moment came when Haley invited Jacob to her ADPi formal during her sophomore year, and from that night on, they never looked back. Over the past four years, they have shared countless milestones and adventures—celebrating each other’s college graduations, walking many miles on the golf course, supporting each others careers, traveling to new places together, and spending Saturdays cheering on the Tigers.”

Jacob Bridgeman on Playing Alongside Rory McIlroy: ‘I’m Not Worried About It’

Jacob Bridgeman was in the spotlight as the young golfer is paired with Rory McIlroy for the final round of the Genesis Invitational. The golfer headed into the final round with a six-shot lead on McIlroy and plenty of confidence amid a strong week at The Riviera Country Club. Bridgeman held off McIlroy and Kurt Kitayama to win the tournament.

“This morning I wouldn’t say it’s a bad thing to let myself think about winning, but I did and I thought it would be a lot easier than it was,” Bridgeman said after the win, when asked about his emotions. “I kind of had everything under control especially to start the day and I felt great throughout the day. Then some guys started making a little run and they got a little closer.”

Bridgeman added, “I had a couple unfortunate breaks. Yeah, it got a lot tighter than I wanted it to. But I don’t think it will get any easier than a six-shot lead so I’ve got to figure out how to make it a little bit — how to make that gap bigger to finish the day. First win here, probably one of the coolest places that I could have done it, and of course having Tiger as the host is a dream come true.”
