The former managing director of the Baltic Triangle’s famous Black Lodge Brewery has died, his friends have announced. Robbi Etherington, 41, became a well known figure on Liverpool’s hospitality scene after becoming the face of the small batch-brewery in 2018.
Announcing his death on Instagram yesterday, Sunday, February 22, his friend Elliot Ferguson said in a heartfelt tribute: “My hero and my best friend.
“Our dear friend Robbi has passed over the rainbow bridge, and right now I don’t have the words. But if you can, please raise a creamer for the best to ever do it. I love you, brother.”
Friends shared their own messages of love and support. Caatface said: “I’m so sorry Elliot. He loved you to bits, you were his family. Sending lots of love.”
Ellaaamaaayyy said: “Just devastating, what a kind, lovely human he was. Sending so much love.”
llwydwynglas said: “So sorry to hear brother, he brought smiles to everyone he met, lots of love mate.”
