The British singer-songwriter and record producer is currently appearing at venues across the country with her ‘THIS TOUR MAY CONTAIN NEW MUSIC’ tour. Raye broke down in tears during an emotional moment during the first night of her Birmingham shows yesterday.
The singer, 28, is performing at the BP Pulse Live this week, with her last show tonight (February 24). During the show the singer touched on numerous sensitive topics, from sexual assault and rape to suicide, with the performer breaking down during one section of the show as she sang I Know You’re Hurting, which is about hidden pain.
Raye had to leave the stage after the song as tears flooded her eyes and she told the crowd she would need to leave for a few minutes to “wipe the makeup off her face”.
Fans in the audience similarly in tears at the emotional song and message.
Raye will take the tour across the world next.
