Yellowstone boss Taylor Sheridan returns with what has been described as his “most intimate work to date” in six-part drama The Madison, following a love story across Montana and Manhattan. The “gripping” series stars Michelle Pfeiffer as Stacy Clyburn, the matriarch of the Clyburn family who relocates from New York City to Montana in the wake of a tragedy.
Coming to Paramount+ in two parts, The Madison will release its first three episodes on 14 March, while the remaining three will drop the following week, on 21 March.
Pfeiffer stars alongside Kurt Russell as Stacy’s husband Preston, with the trailer unfolding in different timelines and offering a look into their “profound love story”, while also hinting at a devastating development for Stacy.
The Madison has been hailed as a “deeply personal family drama about resilience and transformation”, seeing Stacy relocate to the Madison River valley in Montana to begin a new chapter in her life.
A spin-off of Yellowstone, The Madison was created by Sheridan, who also serves as executive producer alongside Pfeiffer, Russell and series director Christina Alexandra Voros.

The Madison was previously confirmed to be set in the same universe as the Yellowstone franchise, comprised of spin-off prequel series, 1883 and 1923, and a sequel series, Marshals, set for a 1 March release. Spin-offs The Dutton Ranch, 1944 and 6666 are also in the works.

“I am confident our Yellowstone sequel will be another big hit, thanks to the brilliant creative mind of Taylor Sheridan and our incredible casts who bring these shows to life.”
Ahead of season 1, The Madison has been renewed for a second season, which has already completed filming but is yet to confirm a release date.
The Madison starts streaming on Paramount+ on 14 March.
