A Manchester rail station has undergone a playful re-branding ahead of the Brit Awards ceremony in the city this weekend.

Commuters pulling in at Deansgate are being greeted by signs reading “Olivia Deansgate” – as fans prepare to welcome Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Olivia Dean in the run up to the awards this weekend.

Dean will perform an intimate charity gig at Manchester’s Albert Hall later as part of a week of celebrations to showcase the Brits.

Rail company Northern assured passengers the signage change at Deansgate will only be temporary.
