We’re not two round into our weekly Super League predictions and it’s proving harder for some of our writers than others.
Before diving into what we’ve picked to happen this coming round, we can look back at the round two predictions where no writer predicted more than four of the seven games correct. Sam Cook was the only man to tip a Hull KR win in the World Club Challenge but his faith in Rovers’ neighbours Hull FC left him with egg on his face later in the week.
There are more split opinions this week with just three of the seven games being agreed upon but that’s perhaps a signpost as to how competitive Super League is in 2026.
All three promoted teams have held their own with last year’s Championship winners Toulouse Olympique going for a third straight win when they face fellow promoted side Bradford Bulls on Sunday.
Before that game, we’ve got the Battle of the Borough between Wigan and Leigh on Thursday night followed by two Friday night games. Castleford and Huddersfield compete for their first win whilst Hull FC host York Knights.
Saturday sees Warrington return after their bye last week with Wire hosting Wakey, before St Helens travel to take on Catalans. Those games serve as curtain raisers for the showpiece game of the week with Hull KR facing Leeds Rhinos in Las Vegas at midnight.
Below are all our picks, as well as an update on the predictions leaderboard.

Super League round three predictions
Wigan Warriors v Leigh Leopards – Thursday 26 February – 8pm
Will Jackson: Wigan 24-10 Leigh
Wigan blew Hull FC away last weekend and I expect them to be far too good for Leigh on Thursday night. The Leopards aren’t firing on all cylinders just yet but Wigan really seem to have hit the ground running.
Sam Cook: Wigan 32-14 Leigh
After watching how dominant Wigan were in the opening hour against Hull FC, it’s hard to look past them at their own ground. There will be needle because of last year’s semi-final but I don’t think that’s enough to get a slow-starting Leigh level with their neighbours.
Sam Brocksom: Wigan Warriors 24-4 Leigh Leopards
After such a dominant showing against Hull FC, Wigan will want to back that up against their local rivals. Leigh were nothing special against the Saints, and if they are to get the win, will need to improve significantly.
Castleford Tigers v Huddersfield Giants – Friday 27 February – 8pm
WJ: Castleford 20-16 Huddersfield
I’m not expecting a classic here and based on the first two rounds, both sides are in a bit of trouble already, particularly with key men missing on both sides. On home soil, I’m backing Cas to get the job done and register their first points of the season.
SC: Castleford 22-26 Huddersfield
Both sides will be desperate to get their first win here and that often leads to tetchy games that can be split by moments of genius. George Flanagan showed two such moments in defeat last week but he might be able to come out on the winning side here.
SB: Castleford Tigers 18-10 Huddersfield Giants
Two sides well out of form, one of the two West Yorkshire clubs will pick up their first win. If Castleford can make the Onebore Stadium a hostile environment, they should have enough to get over the line.
Hull FC v York Knights – Friday 27 February – 8pm
WJ: Hull 22-12 York
I’m struggling with Hull so far. They underwhelmed against Bradford and they were shocking against Wigan last week. The loss of Will Pryce will be felt, of course, too. As such, I’m not expecting York to be blown away by the Black and Whites on Friday and I think this one could be settled late on.
SC: Hull 28-24 York
Hull FC have had torrid home form the last few years and after being blitzed by Wigan Warriors and picking up more injuries, you feel York have a real chance to pick up another win but the surprise factor of promoted teams will surely start to wear off this week. As such, I’ll take Hull by a narrow margin in a high-scoring game.
SB: Hull FC 24-20 York Knights
Mark Applegarth’s side will be looking to bounce back from defeat to Leeds, and will see an injury-ridden Hull FC as a chance to get back to winning ways. However, despite their current situation, FC should have enough to see out the win.
Warrington Wolves v Wakefield Trinity – Saturday 28 February – 5.30pm
WJ: Warrington 28-16 Wakefield
Warrington had the week off last week and I think that could do them a world of good this week, in terms of just getting their breath back after the opening round. Wakefield had the wood over Wire last season but I find it hard to see Daryl Powell’s side going back to West Yorkshire with the two points.
SC: Warrington 24-18 Wakefield
It’s hard to gauge if a week off at this point in the season is that helpful or not with momentum as important as a rest. Despite Wakefield winning last week, they likely won’t carry much momentum given how poor their final 15 minutes were so I’m favouring Warrington to pick up a second win.
SB: Warrington Wolves 30-16 Wakefield Trinity
An interesting battle between a club who didn’t play last week, and another who are yet to find their true form. Wakefield have won the last three meetings, but Wire’s round one performance could suggest that run is set to end.
Catalans Dragons v St Helens Saturday 28 February – 6pm
WJ: Catalans 10-16 St Helens
Catalans were dreadful last week and while I’d expect to see a reaction this time around, there’s no way I’d be picking them to beat the Saints.
SC: Catalans 24-20 St Helens
Catalans were woeful last week and they struggled to a team playing a similar way to Paul Rowley, however, it could be seen that they’ve had perfect prep for this week. With Saints down on numbers, Catalans could bounce back with their outside backs in particular set to be crucial.
SB: Catalans Dragons 20-12 St Helens
Joel Tomkins will want a much-improved performance from the one they put out at Bradford last week. Combine that with St Helens’ travel and injury worries, I think Les Dracs could emerge victorious
Hull KR v Leeds Rhinos – Sunday 1 March – 12am
WJ: Hull KR 24-22 Leeds
Rovers are no strange to the big occasion and they’ll certainly take Las Vegas in their stride this week. There’ll be question marks about a drop off following their World Club Challenge heroics, but I can see them being too good for the Rhinos.
SC: Hull KR 18-26 Leeds
Hull KR answered any questions of a drop-off after last year’s Challenge Cup win by putting more than 60 points past Catalans but the World Club Challenge was more draining, the travel to Vegas is draining, and Leeds are a far better team than that Catalans side.
SB: Hull KR 18-20 Leeds Rhinos
The biggest league match of the season will occur in Vegas, and for the good of the UK game, let’s hope it’s a competitive tie. Leeds come in off the back of a strong win, whilst KR will have to recover from a gruelling World Club Challenge victory. Will fatigue get to them?
Bradford Bulls v Toulouse Olympique – Sunday 1 March – 3pm
WJ: Bradford 20-14 Toulouse
Two sides who have impressed in the opening rounds and I think they look evenly matched heading into this one. However, I’m tipping Bradford to get the job done on home soil, with the Odsal factor being a big one.
SC: Bradford 20-24 Toulouse
Whilst Bradford’s team and coach are not the same as in the Championship, Toulouse do have a similar set-up and the French side had the edge in 2025 as they won all three games. Being away is a concern but they got the monkey off their back in round one and I’m backing them to do it again at Odsal.
SB: Bradford Bulls 24-14 Toulouse Olympique
Toulouse have had a perfect start to Super League so far, but the Bulls showed how much of a fortress Odsal can be in Super League, and I expect the home side to pick up the victory.
