Real Identity Of Mystery Masked Man On WWE SmackDown & More Details

WWE

Here is the real identity of the mystery masked man on WWE SmackDown as well as more details about the attacker.

Since Austin Theory was previously revealed as the masked man working on behalf of The Vision, there has been a new masked man, this time working against The Vision and attacking its members.

On tonight’s February 27 edition of WWE SmackDown, a masked man got involved in the main event between The Vision’s Logan Paul and Jacob Fatu, notably taking out Theory at ringside.

Who Was The Masked Man On WWE SmackDown

Logan Paul then unmasked the attacker, revealing it to be… someone nobody – including the announcers – recognized.

In reality, the identity of this masked man on SmackDown was independent wrestler Don Furio.

Furio has trained at Seth Rollins and Marek Brave’s Black & Brave Academy, as well as at Cody Rhodes’ Nightmare Factory.

With Seth Rollins one of the leading candidates to have been revealed as the masked man targeting The Vision after they kicked him out of the group a few months ago, it’s unclear if Furio’s connection to Rollins is part of the storyline and will be brought up on-screen, or if it’s just a coincidence.

It’s also unconfirmed if the reveal of Furio was to be the ‘real’ masked man, or if this was intended as a ‘decoy’ sent by the man who will ultimately be revealed later on, be that Rollins or somebody else.

Previous Appearances In NXT & AEW

Furio has appeared in WWE before, including as backup for Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo in NXT last year when Lorenzo had first broken out from the D’Angelo Family.

He has also previously wrestled in AEW under the name Donovan Izzolena.

We’ll keep you posted with any further updates on the future of the masked man storyline in WWE.
