Voting has commenced for Poland to select its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria.

Voting has now opened on TVP VOD to select the Polish entry for the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Those with a TVP VOD account can vote up to three times between today and March 5 at 17:00 CET. SMS voting will open during the broadcast of Finał polskich kwalifikacji on March 7 and will close at 23:59 CET.

The winner of Finał polskich kwalifikacji will be announced on the morning of March 8 during Pytanie na Śniadanie at 10:00 CET. The winner will be determined purely by the number of votes that each act receives, with the act that receives the highest number of votes declared the winner.

In the event that a tie occurs or the public vote fails, then the winner will be determined by a back-up jury. The back-up jury will be formed of representatives of the Eurovision fan community.

The acts competing in the Polish selection are:

Alicja – “Pray”

Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest+

Poland debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 alongside a number of other Eastern European countries. Their debut year saw their best result to date in the contest, as Edyta Górniak finished in 2nd place with her song “To nie ja!”. Following this, Poland failed to repeat this initial success, only managing to achieve a top 10 finish on two other occasions since their debut. Since their return in 2014, they have been considerably more successful in the contest, having qualified for the final 7 times out of 11 attempts.
