Britain’s Got Talent returned to TV screens tonight (February 28) with a brand new episode spotlighting auditions from the seaside town of Blackpool.

However, just minutes in to the show viewers were left saying the exact same thing following the opening act’s performance. Bournemouth-based boyband SOS opened the episode with their rendition of the Backstreet Boys’ hit, Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).

Their hard rock version of the song immediately won over the audience and the group won four yes votes from judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and KSI, who was made a permanent addition to the judging panel this year.

Viewers at home were also left impressed, with many flooding social media with their thoughts on the group. “A great start to the show – this is right up my street. We don’t get many rock bands on #BGTand I love this version of the song they performed. I enjoyed the performance,” gushed one ITV viewer.

The group announced to their followers they would be appearing on the show earlier today, posting on their social media pages: “Huge news. We are buzzing to finally announce that your boys will be ON THE TELLY.

“Tune in to Britain’s Got Talent tonight at 7pm on @itv and @itvxofficial to see if we can rock the judges world.”
